Maui Contractors Women's Auxiliary

Maui Contractors Women's Auxiliary, founded in 1984, supports organizations devoted to helping Maui's children and needy in their time of distress and crisis, as well as individuals and others as the group becomes aware of the need.

The MCWA members have many contacts throughout the social services network on Maui, and individual requests are considered by the group on a case-by-case basis. Many organizations are supported on an ongoing basis, as the situation warrants.

These fun-raising events are also our primary fundraising events, and serve to underwrite our contributions to Maui's social services.

In addition to the fundraising activities, numerous purely social activities are scheduled throughout the year, although these events are not paid for from the organization's general fund.

I was quite surprised, but very grateful, when I first learned that MCWA was raising funds to assist me. As a resident of Maui for more than 25 years, I know that the people of this community are truly generous in expressing their desire to help others. However, I never expected to be the focus of such generosity.
